Brock Peterson - 2020 Summer Intern

I was born and raised in Ventura, California, but I am happy to call Washington my home away from home. I am incoming junior at Whitworth University majoring in biology with minors in environmental studies and theology. I enjoy skiing, hunting, and hiking; but my favorite activity is fishing.

Whether it is dropping 150 feet for rockfish, drifting dry flies on a spring creek, or teaching kids how to fish, I cannot get enough of the sport and its ability to show the wonders of Creation.

I am excited to be able to work with two of my loves this summer: fish and Jesus! Along with this, the opportunity to share my passions for Christ and Creation with kids is beyond exciting!
