Drop-off: 6:30 AM | Pick-up: 4:00 PM
(McDonald's parking lot at corner of Bishop Blvd. and Grand Ave.)
Day Trips are open to those entering 4th grade and up.

Trip Schedule:
6:30AM Drop off the kids in the McDonald's parking lot. ​
6:35AM Load the car for a 35 minute drive to Boyer Park Marina
7:10AM Use the restrooms and register at the fish check station.

7:25AM Board boat, review safety equipment, procedures, and
behavior expectations for boating and fishing
7:30AM Morning prayer/Psalm reading, then throwing the lines and heading for the river
7:40AM GO FISH!
9:30AM Mid-Morning prayer and Gospel reading

9:40AM GO FISH!
12:00PM Midday prayer, devotional reading, and lunch
12:15PM GO FISH!
Last chance to catch that money fish!
1:30PM Hoist the anchor and return to port.
3:00PM Return to South Grand McDonald's for pick-up.
To register, participants need to know the last 4 digits of their social security number, mailing address, and have their fishing license if 15 or older.
We provide each participant a rod and reel for the day, plus all the tackle and bait necessary to be successful.
While we cannot guarantee everyone will catch a fish, every effort will be made to see that every youth on the boat gets to land a fish.
Depending on where the fish are biting we may move the boat many times during the trip in search of fish...and to use the restroom. There are 3 furnished restrooms that are readily accessible by boat along the river.
Students will have time to hydrate, eat, plus take time to reflect on the trip as a group.
Check station to turn in Northern Pikeminnow closes at 2PM. There is a convenience store at the marina where folks can purchase snacks and drinks after a hard day of fishing.
Release Forms:
Participants must bring signed release forms with them before going on the trip, or have current forms on file (new forms required each season). You can find the forms here.
Fishing License:
Participants age 15 and up must have a valid fishing license through the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. A 1-day pass or yearly license can be purchased here.

Participants under the age of 15 are considered “minors” and do not need a license, however still need to register for the Pikeminnow Program with last 4 digits of their SS# and mailing address.
