Overnight Trips are open to those going into 8th grade and up
Drop-off: 3:00 PM
Pick-up: 12:00 PM (next day)
(McDonald's parking lot at corner of Bishop Blvd. and Grand Ave.)
To Bring: (space is limited please pack all gear, excluding sleeping bag, in a backpack)
closed toed shoes
clothes to sleep in
warm clothes for evening
sleeping bag & small pillow
flashlight or headlamp
water bottle (at least 40 oz)
money to spend at Boyer Park convenience store (optional)
For participants 15 yrs and up:
current fishing license (details)
3:00PM The adventure begins in the McDonald's parking. Load the car, check gear and release forms, and head out to Boyer Park Marina.
4:00PM Arrive at marina, unload car, and set up camp.
5:00PM Load the boat and head out on the river to fish!
9:00PM Pull the lines in and head back to camp for conversation and s'mores around the fire.
10:00PM Head to bed or head back out on the water for some extra late night fishing!
7:00AM Rise and shine.
7:15AM Cooking and eating breakfast.
8:00AM Pack up camp and head out to fish.
11:00AM Pull in lines head back to the marina.
11:15AM Check in fish, load up the car and drive back to Pullman.
12:00PM Arrive back at McDonalds parking lot for pick up.
Participants must bring signed release forms with them before going on the trip, or have current forms on file (new forms required each season). You can find the forms here.
Participants age 15 and up must have a valid fishing license through the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. A 1-day pass or yearly license can be purchased here.
Participants under the age of 15 are considered “minors” and do not need a license, however still need to register for the Pikeminnow Program with last 4 digits of their SS# and mailing address.
